Work-shop to discuss shore-power with the cruise industry in Bergen on the 8-9 November

Ports of Hamburg, Esbjerg, Rostock, Gdansk, Klaipeda, Riga, Talling, Helsinki, Bergen and other parthers joinned forces to work with main cruise stakeholders, to make the Baltic Sea Region more innovative, more sustainable and better connected, from a cruise tourism perspective; that is the GREEN CRUISE PORT (GCP).

OPS Master Plan for Spanish has been invited to join GCP  work-shop to be held in Bergen on the 8-9 November to discuss the cruise business case for shore power: its oportunities and limitations. Is onshore power supply (OPS) for cruise ships feasible? What kind of incentives and regulations needs to be implemented? Will the ship owners follow suit?

GCP is a project financed by EU Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020 (see more at  http://www.greencruiseport.eu/Home.html).
